Insurance is a contract with a company that assumes financial risk in exchange for premiums.
What Is Healthcare Sharing?
A Simple, Community-Based Approach to Healthcare
Healthcare sharing is a way for members to help one another with medical expenses.
Instead of paying into an insurance plan, members share a monthly amount that helps support others in the community when medical needs arise.

A Faith-Based Approach to Care
GraceWell is founded in the belief that no one should face healthcare needs alone. Members come together to support one another—sharing both the responsibility and the burden.
In the Book of Acts, we see believers caring for one another in practical ways:
“All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.”
— Acts 2:44–45
We are also reminded:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
— Galatians 6:2
What Healthcare Sharing Looks Like
- A membership-based program
- Designed to work alongside Medicare
- A not-for-profit model focused on people, not profit
- Members helping members through shared support
- Each member shares a monthly amount
- Eligible medical expenses are shared based on clear, easy-to-understand guidelines
- No shareholders or profit-driven structure
- No provider network restrictions—use any doctor that accepts Medicare
- No pre-existing condition limitations
Healthcare dollars stay focused on helping members, not generating returns for investors.
Simple. Structured. Transparent.
How Is This Different From Insurance?
Healthcare sharing is a membership-based model.
Members agree to follow established Guidelines and submit eligible medical bills for sharing.
There is no contractual guarantee of payment.
Instead, sharing takes place according to clear Guidelines, with clear rules, transparency, and oversight.
How GraceWell Works With Medicare:
GraceWell is designed specifically for seniors enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B.
Medicare remains your primary coverage.
When Medicare does not fully pay an eligible medical expense, GraceWell members share the remaining amount according to the Guidelines.
GraceWell does not replace Medicare—it complements it.
It works alongside it.
