Is Durable Medical Equipment (DME) eligible for sharing?
The short answer is yes, as long as it's eligible with Medicare.
However, GraceWell can’t determine eligibility until after care is received and bills are submitted.
Here’s how it works:
- GraceWell is designed to work alongside Medicare.
- Medicare pays first, and then members share eligible medical expenses based on what Medicare allows but does not fully pay.
For an expense to be considered for sharing:
- You must be enrolled in Medicare Parts A & B
- The service must be Medicare-eligible
- You’ll need to submit your Medicare Summary Notice (MSN) and required billing form.
- Sharing is applied after your Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA)
